About

About Test Data Generator

Toggle the fields you need and choose a row count, then the generator produces a table of realistic-looking data instantly. Supported fields include names, email addresses, phone numbers, cities, countries, companies, UUIDs, dates, booleans, integers, colors, and avatar initials.

Preview the result as a table, copy it as JSON, or download CSV or JSON files for seeding databases, testing APIs, or filling forms during development.

Generation runs entirely in your browser - nothing is uploaded, stored, or sent to a server. Re-generating produces a fresh random set every time.

    Test Data Generator FAQ

Find answers to common questions about generating mock data, choosing fields, and exporting.

What can I use the generated data for?

Seeding development databases, testing API payloads, filling UI forms, load-testing with sample records, and any workflow that needs realistic but harmless placeholder values.

    Is the data real?

No. Names, companies, and cities come from built-in sample lists, emails use reserved example.com-style domains, and phone numbers use example prefixes. No real person or organization is referenced.

Can I change which fields appear?

Yes. Toggle any of the 14 field types on or off. The table, JSON copy, and CSV/JSON downloads always reflect exactly the fields you selected.

How many rows can I generate?

Up to 200 rows per batch. If you need more, generate again - each click produces a fresh random set, or download several batches and concatenate them.

What is the difference between CSV and JSON export?

CSV is a compact table format that opens directly in Excel and Google Sheets. JSON preserves types (numbers and booleans stay typed) and is ready to paste into code or API tooling.

    Is my data sent anywhere?

No. All values are generated locally in your browser. Nothing is transmitted, logged, or stored.
